OK, seems to be OK.

We have just to create xdvi.files, manipulate debian/control and can
have a separate package called xdvi, which depends on tetex-bin. The
only problem: How do I set the version of that package? If I split it
off that way, the package would be called xdvi_2.0.2-x.x (which is
definitely not true). Actually:
drachi:[debian] >dpkg -l libkpathsea3

ii libkpathsea3 1.0.7+20011202 shared libkpathsea for teTeX
which is wrong (debian stable). The version of that lib is 3.3.7. Any
possibilities to change that?

OK, but I don't want to include a full list

I would just mention some programs everybody will have contact with,
as soon as he starts using TeX.

Furthermore there are some little tools for maintaining your teTeX
system.
OK.
