Um, I don't remember exactly the steps that I took, but I installed the
1.0.2+20000804-2 release and after that, a .tex of mine didn't compile (with
errors of "I can't find *** style" or something like that). With texconfig,
option REHASH, the problems disappeared.
I've seen that, at least now, tetex rebuild ls-R several times (or several
ls-R databases, I don't know) in postinst. Maybe that behaviour fixes the
problem. If you want, I can deinstall all tex-related packages and begin
again. If I don't find problems, you can close the bug.
