OT: Keyboard broken?

Hi.

I have a Sparcstation 5 clone with a Sun 4 keyboard, and during Debian 
installation (I do not think this is the reason) I run into a problem. The 
machine behaved as if the Return key was permanently pressed. I switched off 
and removed the keycaps, but could not find any mechanical problem. 

After switching on again, Return (and Enter as well) did not work (but CTRL_M 
did). But a little bit later I had the permanent Returns again. It does not 
make sense to install this way. 

Any other keys are ok.

Did anybody see that before? I assume the controller in the keyboard is 
broken, but before I start to buy a new keyboard, I'd like to ask.
