mummy is team-maintained, is there someone in the team that can help you
out?

No, you already did that... I'm looking for a backport of *just* the RC
bugfix, applied to the current version of the package in *Wheezy*, with an
appropriate changelog. All the other changes in the sid package are
unsuitable for this stage of the freeze, which is why it can't just be
unblocked.
