I've now uploaded the package for lenny, but I've found the etch one
needed a bit more massaging to build with pbuilder; the attached debdiff
makes the etch and lenny packages virtually identical (modulo
changelog):

serveez (0.1.5-2+etch1) oldstable; urgency=high

  * Applied patch to fix HTTP remote buffer overflow (closes: #540657).
  * Removed config.status from .diff.gz.
  * Applied changes from 0.1.5-2.1 (lenny) to fix build:
    - Corrected DISTCLEANFILES in doc/Makefile.{am,in} to fix FTBFS if built
      twice in a row (patch by Chris Lamb) (closes: #424263).
    - Don't use ${description} substitution variable in debian/control.
