kactivitymanagerd does not work without libqt5sql5-sqlite or any other "database driver" recommended by the package libqt5sql5. In the current state, kactivitymanagerd does not depends nor recommends nor suggests any of those packages.
kactivitymanagerd depends on libqt5sql5, thus transitively recommends the database drivers. Sadly apt resolver might choose to drop the recommends when they produce some not immediate solution.
I'm not convinced that the recommends needs to be duplicated in kactivitymanagerd, as that would also be true for every package that links against libqt5sql5. Maybe we need to move the alternative recommends to a dependency.
