Package: kwrite Version: 4:4.8.4-1 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer, When writing a long line in kwrite/kate/kile, with dynamic word wrap on, the cursor goes a bit funny when the line is very close to the right edge of the screen, and text is not inserted where the cursor is actually pointing. In this situation, the right and left keys dont visibly move the cursor (although they move where text is inserted). Basically there seems to be a bug with the cursor position, possibly related with bug 680402 that I just submitted. Version: 4:4.14.1-1 Hi, These two bugs seem to be no longer reproducible in the newer versions of kwrite/kate (libktexteditor based), sadly I could not point to a single commit that fixes these issue as the paste code has been reworked thoroughly enough to make that a daunting task. Please, if you can still reproduce the issue reopen the corresponding bug. Happy hacking, -- “First, solve the problem.
