Package: drdsl
Severity: important

hereby I declare my intent to request removal of the drdsl from Debian
in unstable.

Rationale: This package depends on one or more packages built from
src:isdnutils which I intent to remove from Debian once Linux kernel
version 5.3 hits testing. That kernel will no longer ship isdn4linux
support, therefore it's useless to keep the related userland in Debian
any longer, see #933360 for a longer explanation.

As a result drdsl will be no longer of use as well.

The removal request will happen somewhen in the fourth quarter of 2019.
If there is reason to object, let me know. Otherwise I suggest to stop
working on this package unless absolutely necessary.

A clarification: *Not* affected are

* The already-released Debian versions, up to and including 10 (buster).
* libcapi20*, and packages that solely depend on that.

Regards,

    Christoph
