This can be trivially reproduced with a command like: strace -e trace=open pkcsconf -s Which will show that dlopen(3) looks for the modules only in the default library path. Unless /usr/lib/opencryptoki/stdll/ is in $LD_LIBRARY_PATH then errors like this will be logged: Aug 16 04:41:40 bongo openCryptokiModule[5636]: DL_Load: dlopen() failed for [libpkcs11_sw.so]; dlerror = [libpkcs11_sw.so: impossibile aprire il file oggetto condiviso: File o directory non esistente] -- ciao, Marco
