Package: foomatic-db
Version: 20040220-1
Severity: minor

(please excuse me if this is not the right package, I was not sure which
package to report this to).

I'm using CUPS and Foomatic, and have quite a lot of epson matrix
printers in use.

Epson Matrix printers are supported by drivers like "epson" and
"epsonc", the drivers seem to work well, but when compared to Windows
prints, the ones sent via cups seem of less quality.

This is because my printer only supports NNNx72 and NNNx144 resolutions,
but cups allows me only to set NNNx72. It would be nice if the 144
resolutions would be there as well.

Hope you can have a look at it.

Love,
Margarita.

Hi,

I am sorry that nobody took care of this bug. It was filed for an old version of the package and probably fixed in a later upload.

If you can reproduce it with the current version in unstable/testing please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.

Best regards,
Thorsten
