Package: samba
Version: 2:3.4.8~dfsg-1~bpo50+1
Severity: normal

Since two weeks no I get mails (1-3 per day) about samba panicking.
Never happened before in 5 years
I installed a backport of samba not so long ago to support Windows 7
clients

Message is:

The Samba 'panic action' script, /usr/share/samba/panic-action,
was called for PID 15941 (/usr/sbin/smbd).
Below is a backtrace for this process generated with gdb, which shows
the state of the program at the time the error occurred.

of cups (and gnutls). It is likely to have been fixed in the intervening
period.
