No, the significnt part is that the debian powerpc collaboration kind of
disintegrated, as all porters either left, like Hartmut, or engaged in other
areas, like you for X, and are less powerpc specific.

We need to rebuild the community, get new and fresh blood, and have some
people with an overview of all the problems and TODO items, or simply a
coordinated wiki page (andsomeone wiki-friendly who can coordinate it or
something) to hold the port status, and list people working on different
areas, and what is needed and so on.

Who would be in such an effort ? Would you ? Would any of those who kind of
replaced me as d-i 'porters' ? 

/me wonders if in the wake of the freescale/ibm/power.org rebranding of all
the powerpc line, we should rename the list to debian-power :)
