Hmm, OK, I am sorry, I oversaw the following part on
http://dba.openoffice.org/drivers/postgresql/index.html:

    * The driver now builds also in OOo 2.x build environment. 
"

And it indeed does. (with some patches for using Debians libpq and some
stl/gcc4 buildfixes)

I might add it in one of the next packages (not decided yet whether in -base
or in an extra package.
