Openoffice won't start (locale problem)

Hallo!

When I try to run openoffice I get the following error:

bash-2.05a$ oowriter
I18N: Operating system doesn't support locale ""
Application ErrorAborted
--------

I've got locales installed (and ca_ES@euro (default) and es_ES@euro 
configured).  But it seems not to be well configured:

LC_NUMERIC="POSIX"
LC_TIME="POSIX"
LC_COLLATE="POSIX"
