I see two approches to solving this bug: - make the command-line options override the configuration specified in global.conf - reject command-line options when they are read in global.conf What do you think? ...The behaviour of "ben download" of having some sane defaults[1] or configuration file that can be overridden on the command line is IMHO pretty good, and I'd expect "ben tracker" to behave the same way.

Sorry for taking so much time to merge such a trivial change, but I didn't see the MR until now... There is so much noise in Salsa notifications that I ended up ignoring them altogether.
