Bug#458206: audacity: Same behavior with Intel soundchips
Package: audacity
Version: 1.3.4-1.1
Followup-For: Bug #458206
The same error occurs - regardless whether the OSS or Alsa output is chosen
- on a system with on-board Intel HDA soundchip, identified by lspci -v
as:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High
Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)
This is on a multimedia system where all other installed audio playback
and a/v editing programs [arecorder, mplayer, xine, vlc, amarok, mpg123,
ogg123, kino, cinelerra] work flawlessly.
