Package: lintian Version: 2.104.0 Hi. I got a request to drop the menu file for netkit-telnet: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/netkit-telnet/-/merge_requests/1 The submitter says that menu files are deprecated in Debian, and I could see some indirect indications of this, but if true it would be great if lintian could help here. Given policy 9.6 -- https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-opersys.html#menus -- perhaps lintian should suggest that the maintainer write a desktop entry for the package whenever a menu file is found? /Simon
