Installing debian from redhat
Hi,
I've got a sony vaio c1ve and am borrowing a USB floppy drive. I have RH
7.2 currently installed and want to install debian. Problem is, I have no
CDROM drive and no bootable dos partition. Also, because of the USB
floppy I can only boot from 1 floppy and can't insert any more. I read
that installs have been done by downloading a rescue image and mounting
this in /dev somewhere, however, the essential details of how todo this
are lacking. How can I install from a working rh installation without
using cdrom or more than 1 floppy ?
any help will be appreciated.
cheers,
stephen
