I'm curious to learn how to create an ISO image of the OS running on
C-drive and burn the same afterwards on CD/DVD as LiveCD/LiveDVD which
can be operated on CDRom by itself.

If I was a betting man, which I am, I'd bet that you don't want to make an ISO image of a running system. The problem that I first think of is /tmp and a slew of temporary files scattered around the system. Memory would be another issue, but I could be wrong... Not well versed in that area...

FYI: I created my image on separate Linux box not running KNOPPIX.
