Re: Jessie - firmware-atheros - QCA9377

Hi Ben,

You're right, I did compile ath10k previously. Will it not be pushed down to jessie?

Thanks.

Hi,

Good day.

What's the process of pushing a specific firmware to jessie stable? I
have waited for QCA9377* firmwares to appear in stable but I have no
idea why it wasn't added yet. Debian sid/stretch has these firmwares,
which are btw firmwares for the ath10k drivers. Any suggestions on
what I can read/search for?

jessie doesn't have the ath10k driver either, so what would be the
point of adding the firmware?

jessie-backports has newer kernel and firmware packages.

Ben.
