Bug#641198: linux-image-2.6.32: After yesterday's update including kernel update and firmware-linux update the sound doesn't work any more. Model: "Intel 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller"

Did you turn the computer off between these tests, or did you just
reboot?  It might make a difference.
