Bug#567747: After upgrade, all system lock up when X start
Package: linux-source-2.6.32
Version: 2.6.32-6
Severity: normal
For me Linux does not find TMDS panel connected to a mac mini.
Applying
http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/intel-gfx/2009-December/004979.html
fixes the problem for me on kernel.org 2.6.32 but the patch still
applies on Debian 2.6.32-1-686 (2.6.32.4).
The kernel fails to detect some hardware when the i2c bus is in an
unexpected state. The UMS code is less prone to this issue so disabling
KMS also resolved the issue for me.
