After upgrade to 2.6.24 (from 2.6.22) lines including
PCI: Cannot allocate resource region :

I googled abit and found that people reprted this about the acer 5100
family laptops.

I have Acer 5102 .

I tested the next hardware and it works ok :

Card reader
DVD writer.
touchpad
PCMCIA

I can't check the m5602 integrated webcam (no working driver yet).
