Bug#496603: me too
Me too. Applied linux-image-2.6.26-1-686 version 2.6.26-3, with the
result that boot stops and initramfs prompt appears. Workaround was
to reboot to older kernel which has sata_sis module, with
CONFIG_SATA_SIS=m
