Bug#364437: v4l driver module helps out

Hi again!

One additional bit of information popped up today.

http://tvtime.sourceforge.net/problems.html#overlay

The tvtime faq proposes using the v4l driver for Xorg, and I
discovered that although 'Load "v4l"' was present in my xorg.conf, I
didn't have the xserver-xorg-video-v4l installed (probably due to a
misguided attempt to thin out the list of packages on my system).

After installing the package and restarting the Xorg server, I tried
to reproduce the bug (as described in the initial post) and it didn't
work (xawtv was using the v4l interface).

There was no way for you to know that I wasn't using the v4l module,
as I didn't include the Xorg.0.log in my initial post.

So it appears the oopses and lockups only happen when the v4l
xserver module is not used.

And I can finally use xawtv again... :-)
