Okay. So its just that some maintainers at least for some applications prefer to push to sid - the Amarok case I mentioned above - but more usually they prefer to push to experimental. For me its mostly not a problem: I didn't hesitate to take stuff from experimental-snapshots at qt-kde.debian.net so I am using from experimental what I see fit ;). But for my workstation at work, some backports would be nice then probably. But heck even there I enabled sid - at lower priority - and experimental repositories - with high enough priority for self updating.
