tree connect failed: ERRSRV - ERRbadpw (Bad password - name/password pair in a Tree Connect or Session Setup are invalid.
Hi
I have two Debian Workstations....
I can mount an smb share "temp", "vol1" and "vol2" using the command line
utility 'smbmount' without any problem and can access (browse) the same share
via konqueror using smb:// URL from both Debian Workstations...
But when I try 'Smbmount Current Share' feature under tools in Konqueror on
one of the Debian Workstations ... it gives this error...
================================================================
Could not mount device.
The reported error was:
Mounting of share "XXX" from host "YYY" by user "ZZZ" failed.
Anonymous login successful
8664: tree connect failed: ERRSRV - ERRbadpw (Bad password - name/password
pair in a Tree Connect or Session Setup are invalid.)
Password:
SMB connection failed

This is the output of my smb.conf on the Samba Server (Red Hat 9)
================================================================
[temp]
comment = Temporary file space
path = /temp
read only = no
public = yes
create mask = 0777
force group = nobody
force user = nobody
[vol1]
comment = vol1
path = /vol1
printable = no
writeable = yes
[vol2]
comment = vol2
path = /vol2
printable = no
writeable = yes

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong on the Debian Workstation with the problem?
Regards
Rishi
