This would be really great.  As I wrote in this thread I'm willing to
provide technical help and I have some ideas what should be done next
from a technical point of view - but I will not start here alone.  My
main energy is in the Debian Med project and I'm willing to help in the
sense of finding synergies and things that can be done in common from a
technical point - but the project definitely needs some love from people
who are really focused on the topic.

Debian Jr is not really targeted at schools - may be you might like
to have a view on Debian Edu ...
