Hello,
I'd like to configure raid 1 using the frozen 2.2 with a Mylex raid card

the raidtools and raidtools2 packages? Thanks in advance.
If you have a hardware RAID device, and it's supported by the kernel, you
don't need the software RAID drivers, as the controller will present the
entire array to the computer as one big SCSI disk. All of the operations
involving building and rebuilding the array are handled in by the
controller itself - a good controller will handle it while the system is
running. If you spend enough on the whole solution, you can even hot-swap
the drives.
Hope that's helpful, and I'm reasonably sure it's accurate. :)
