INPUT_METHOD have also been added in the patch. INPUT_METHOD can be used to distinguish fcitx4 and fcitx5. Does the INPUT_METHOD thing valid proposal ? I don't understand rationale for adding yet-another-variable.
Can you provide best solution as PR or patch?
