I recall seeing that at least some of the Progeny GUI install stuff is
going into Debian.  It's not perfect, but works pretty well.  It won't
be the default for woody, however.  Remember however we have been
talking about something to go into a 386.  When I first started using
Linux nearly 8 years ago I ran X on a 386, but wouldn't want to do so
today. Personally I like the text-based stuff (or curses, which looks a
bit prettier).
