Bug#691606: [locales] Causes system to fail to boot with floating point exceptions
Package: locales
Version: 2.13-36
Severity: critical
--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
This version of locales causes any script that includes the line
. /etc/default/locales
to exit with a floating point exception. Unfortunately, dash shows this as
multiple commands within the script exiting with "trap divide error" followed
by floating point error, making the error very difficult to determine the
cause of.
This bug causes the system to fail to boot, and prevents the scripts in
/etc/init.d from running correctly.
