Thank you for the heads up.  I must have been looking at the wrong
repository.  when I visist
<URL: http://repo.or.cz/w/glibc.git/blob/HEAD:/localedata/locales/nb_NO >,
I see that this too is lacking correct transliteration for æøå.

Do you have an idea how I can get correct transliteration for æøå into
eglibc?
