Hello World, I'm looking for people to help man the booth at the upcoming FOSDEM. Any volunteers? What I did last year on this subject (and I intend to do that again this year) is to create the booth schedule only when the talk schedule(s) has/have been posted, so that you don't need to miss a talk because you're at the booth; but just so that I don't need to be doing a last-minute rush in order to have enough people at our booth, I'd like to ask for volunteers already. I'm assuming that the Debian booth will, as always, be overly crowded anyway, so most of the time the job of the person "manning the booth" will be to be the one responsible for everything (including the money for T-shirts sold, etc); questions can be asked to everyone at or near the booth; and in the rare occasion that there really is nobody else, well, you'll be busy for five minutes. If you feel you're up to that, please get in contact with me. Also, I'd like suggestions for something we could show at our booth. I think it's fair to assume that most people at FOSDEM will already know what Debian is; and while T-shirts, posters and flyers will, as always, be an important part of our booth, it should also contain something "interesting" for visitors to have a look at. Frans Pop already suggested to set up a babelbox (d-i installation looping through each of the available languages that d-i supports), which I think is great, but more showoff would be nice; and the organizers were kind enough to assign us two tables, so there should be space to put at least two demo computers (maybe three, if we put them close together) on one table, and some marketing material (T-shirts, posters, whatnot) on the other. Suggestions? Speaking of marketing material, who can bring some?
