I just tested in a normal KDE Etch session, and here the CD is mounted in a way
that make it readable for all users.
% ls -ld /media/cdrom0
dr-xr-xr-x 1 root root 2048 2007-04-27 00:18 /media/cdrom0
%
This make the behaviour of LTPS consistent with other desktop installations.
