Hi! I asked around a bit and got the impression that many people aren't going to attend this years debconf - at least from our team, which I consider a bit depressing, but I still thought I shouldn't keep the idea to myself anyway. So I'd like to know for sure, who might be coming to debconf? Who might be interested in some working session during the debcamp? One of the major things that bugged me lately is goplay and that it isn't too easy to get additional informations into it, user comments, reviews, or even homepage links and similar. We spoke about a webbased approach over the times and I haven't seen anyone really objecting to the idea, it just hasn't happened yet.
Most likely I will not since it is close or overlaps with more important plans (like my wedding :-) ).
Of course there are other things to discuss about, like finding out how git might actually work for our workflow, or if there is a way to change our workflow without losing some of the more important benefits in it.
Until the support for partial repositories in git-buildpackage isn't present[1][2] I don't think we can do anything that isn't disruptive to our current work flow.
There is way more stuff to discuss about or work on, so if anyone is coming and would like to add something, just send a note.
