Severity: normal

Hi,

it would be nice if postinst would automatically setup the widescreen
variants for displays with an aspcet ratio of 16:9 or 16:10.

I found the xresprobe package, which seems to work fine here. Maybe our
X gurus have a better way to determine the display resolution.

Cheers,
Michael

--- Begin Message --- Since bullseye (and possibly even buster) we shipped a few wallpapers with different aspect rations and resolutions, and the desktop environments we ship with does a more decent job at choosing a correct one (and with changes in displays) than anything we could ever script. I think this can safely be considered done now.
