When Kuro5hin went down, all of the k5'ers basically coopted adequacy's
server to be their sounding board, so the discussions on it got
depressingly serious for a time. Many of the newer stories on there
now are serious (as far as I can tell) for that reason, but it should
revert now that k5 is back up.

I found it really funny, like most of the stuff on adequacy. The best
part is seeing all of the people who don't realize it's a joke and get
pissed off (yes, that's a textbook example of a troll, but it's way
better trolling than the crapflooders on Slashdot).
Anyhow, I've been thinking about writing an adequacy story. Along the
lines of "How the Liberals are helping Bin Laden steal your Children"
or something. I'll have to work Debian into it too somehow. The best
joke I've thought of so far is how I'll "prove" that UBL is a liberal
because his six wives taught children in Sudan. I mean, if he's
letting his wives leave the house every day and teach rather than
be at home taking care of the kids where they belong, he's obviously
a flaming liberal, right? ;-)
