If I'm going to focus on making a bigger impact with my work, I'm going to stick to dealing with issues that effect the most users. I don't care about the init system all that much, in the end, it's not important. I do care about ensuring we have something maintainable and stable. As soon as we settle which init system is default (and by a rough count, I believe this issue is resolved now, thank you TC :) ), I can start spending time on ensuring we have a polished distro throughout this change by testing, and contributing patches when I hit issues that I have time to fix. I think this is the norm.
