Hello Debian Engineers,
I'm a developer at Google and I have implemented a DataSource for the cloud-init package that supports Google Compute Engine virtual machines.
I'm attaching the file to this mail, it should be placed in the cloudinit/sources/ directory in the original cloud init distribution. I would love to see it added to the relevant debian cloud-init packages.
Please let me know if you have any questions or would prefer a diff style patch (since it was a complete, new file, I figured just attaching it was fine.)
