It basically went okay. The CD set was from an archive snapshot of about
Feb 15 and some of the posts I saw on user hint that maybe that was a
lucky day for CD generators.
After a few dselect runs using the CD set I did switch to http to bring it
up to date. However the machine is running apache, apache-ssl, pgsql, php3
and various other goodies since then and no obvious problems are seen.
A new LUG will be meeting at my net ops and I hope to make them work for
the coffee and pizza by doing test installs on these machines. If I can
get most of them converted and trained then we will be in good shape for a
few local installfests.
