No, only non-free firmware.
but I suspect it missing one needed for my hardware, which is Intel Ethernet Connection (7) I219-V Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 (on the mainboard ASRock B360M-ITX/AC).
How does the installer hang ? Can you switch to the installer shell in tty2 with Ctrl+Alt+F2 ? If yes, can you post the output of
lspci -nnk and attach (compressed) /var/log/syslog ?
