-- System Information:
Debian Release: 8.1
  APT prefers stable-updates
  APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable')
Architecture: amd64 (x86_64)

Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core)
Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8)
Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash
Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)

I spent something like 10-15 minutes trying to get the root passwords to match.
The key repeat is fine _in_ debian but must have been higher from the
text-based install. If there had been an option to _see_ the passwords, I
would have figured out the problem a lot faster.

I guess it may seem like a small thing, but it was very frustrating and is
easily alleviated with a small interface improvement. (Not showing the
password is fine as a default.)

Thanks for your consideration.
