Package: installation-reports

http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/manual/en.i386/apas02.html
#howto-getting-images-usb
says it is a 256 MB image, so my 1 GB stick (Kingston) should be enough.

zcat boot.img.gz > /dev/sdc
gzip: stdout: No space left on device
fdisk /dev/sdc
Disk /dev/sdc: 1000 MB, 1000341504 bytes

gzip -l boot.img.gz
         compressed uncompressed ratio uncompressed_name
           34044754 1002438656 96.6% boot.img

Could you make boot image slightly smaller? I believe this does
not cause any problems though.

apas02.html could also have a link to 'Debian netinst CD image'.

Then I plugged 2 TB disk. Now installation hangs at: "Searching drives
for an installer ISO image /dev/sda4"

I made partitions to my 2 TB disk when testing it: 3 primary
partitions, 21.5 GB each. Rest of the disk for logical partitions.
I did not make any file systems.

So /dev/sda4 is almost 2 TB extended partition. It should not be
searched for anything.

Without 2 TB disk it seems to work.

After reboot I selected expert mode and then selected /dev/sdb for ISO
image search. Now it worked!

I'll make another report later for rest of the installation.

I tested with todays daily files: Everything worked. So I'll try to
close this.
