Re: Request to backport dropbear-initramfs 2022.82 to bullseye for U2F support

The reason for this is to get access to U2F/FIDO authorized_keys that came in 2020.82-1.

Sorry, that should read 2022.82-1.

Hi all,

First, thanks for all the hard work that goes into maintaining backports.

I'd like to request backports for package `dropbear-initramfs` which is version 2022.82-3 under bookworm (testing) and 2020.81 under bullseye (stable). The reason for this is to get access to U2F/FIDO authorized_keys that came in 2020.82-1.

We are using U2F keys now to replace older SSH keys with OpenSSH >8.2, which is available in bullseye main, but are unable to use those same keys under dropbear-initramfs due to this lack of support.

Thanks,

Shaun
