dig the archives of debian-devel from september last year, subject

1/ Since then, it seems the problem is technical:
- unsupported version in BTS
Maybe someone could write something in the wiki (or open a bug report)
with a technical point of vue in order to get it fixed.
2/ It is a _human_ problem (crudely summurized):
- Maintainer from "straight" version does not want to be bothered by the
bpo version, so this is a *blocking* factor.
I believe that more than 90% of bugs on bpo also affect "straight"
versions (only packaging issue are really specific)
Some projects are managed by teams (games...) Maybe maintainers could
temporarily accept to work as a team, before a technical solution for
(automatically ?) assigning the bug to the correct team is fixed.
Best regards.
