In that case, I'd have no problem authorizing reimbursements through Debian, provided that someone else does the accounting (sorry, ENOTIME to do that myself). That does not solve the potential 501(c)(3) issues that have been mentioned in this thread, though. I'm not knowledgeable enough on US law to judge how concrete those risks are.
