We are submitting a bid to host the Debian Developers Conference at the University of Cape Town in July 2016. Half of the organising team are currently UCT staff, students or alumni, and we have Senate approval for the conference. The conference will be for approximately
10-14 days, and for 300 delegates. At this stage it is not clear if we will require the buses all day (for trips around town, similar to the regular Jammie schedules) or only for dinner trips (5*60 seaters) to dedicated venues.
Would it be possible to hire the Jammie shuttles? We do not require exclusive use of the shuttles and would be willing to use them as they currently function, with a few special trips. What are the procedures and options regarding this?
Estimate 2014/2015 prices will suffice along with an estimate annual inflation. If we win the bid we will obtain more recent, detailed quotes again.
