Package: apt
Version: 0.3.19

The following line in the examples sources.list contained in the apt
package (/usr/share/doc/apt/examples/sources.list) seems to be incorrect.
it gives errors, and it even disagrees with the man page for sources.list.
It seems this was automatically copied by some config program to
/etc/apt/sources.list for my use.

deb-src http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable non-US

It seems this should instead be:

deb-src http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable/non-US main contrib
non-free

(This is what is listed in the man page).

I am new to Debian and this caused me some problems. It would be greatly
appreciated if you could correct this. Thank you for your fine work
developing apt and friends.

I am using Debian GNU/Linux 2.2r3 with kernel 2.2.19pre17.

                       Sincerely, Faheem Mitha.

This was fixed in the 0.5 series at some point. The syntax is correct for
an older release of debian.
