Here is the symptom:

dpkg: parse error, in file /var/cache/apt/available' near line 146147 package e2fslibs-dev':
 value for config-version' field not allowed in this context
 
update available list script returned error exit status 2.


The current status of the system is:

- e2fsprogs: 1.19-4
- e2fslibs-dev: 1.19+1.20-WIP unpacked (could not configure because of dep
on newer e2fsprogs) ; 1.19-4 last configured
